Experience and Thinking on the Traffic Planning & Design of Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center

近年来,我国会展业发展迅速,由于对城市经济增长刺激明显,在建及投入运营的展馆逐年增多,展示面积也不断增大,随之而来的交通问题也引起了社会的广泛关注。由于展会具有客流规模大、高峰集中、交通构成复杂等特征,其交通规划建设的合理与否不仅关系到会展交通能否有序运行,还会对周边城市交通产生较大影响。为落实规划意图,保障建设质量,提升运营水平,从规划设计到建设运营的全过程交通咨询研究十分必要,而目前国内相关研究较少。分析表明,主体已完工的亚洲最大深圳国际会展中心,依托在规划建设等各阶段开展的多个交通咨询项目,总结其交通方面的经验与教训,为类似大型公建的全过程交通规划设计咨询提供参考与指导。

In recent years, China's convention and exhibition industry has developed rapidly. Due to the obvious stimulation of urban economic growth, the number of exhibition halls under construction or operation has increased year by year. The exhibition area has also increased. However, the following traffic problems have also aroused widespread concern in society. The exhibition has the characteristics of large passenger flow, concentrated peaks and complex traffic structure. Thus, the rationality of its traffic planning & construction is not only related to whether the exhibition traffic can be operated in an orderly manner, but also has a great impact on the surrounding urban traffic. In order to implement the planning intention, guarantee the construction quality, and improve the operation level, it is very necessary that the whole process of traffic consultation research from planning and design to construction and operation. However, there are few relevant studies in China. Taking Asia's largest Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center which main body has been completed for example, the article summarizes its experience and lessons in traffic relied on multiple traffic consulting projects in various stages of planning and construction, which provides reference and guidance for the whole process traffic planning & design consultation of the same type large public building.
