摘要
In the early days after China opened to the outside world in the 1980s,numerous works by well-known European composers were frequently performed on Chinese stages and were well received by audiences.Anton Bruckner’s symphonic works, however, were not performed as frequently as some others during that era,due to length, complex musical structure, and difficulties. This paper discusses the reception of Anton Briclner’s Music in China.
