孟子“性善说”述论与思考

On Mencius’ Theory of Goodness of Nature

程子曰:“孟子有功于圣门,以其言性善也。”“性善论”作为孟子思想的核心,自其提出以来就引发了学术各界的思辩。虽然关于人性中是否与生俱来拥有“善”的基因,还有待科学验证。但“性善论”中所蕴含的传统儒家的思想智慧,对我们今人的修身律己以及道德观的重建仍有重要的意义。本文从“致善”与“推善”两个方面,对孟子的“性善”之道进行简单的梳理与评述。

Cheng Zi said,"Mencius has performed meritorious service at the holy gate." As the core of Mencius' thought,the theory of goodness of nature has been debated in academic circles since it was put forward.Science has yet to test whether humanity is born with the good gene.However,the wisdom of traditional Confucianism contained in the theory of goodness of nature is still of great significance for the cultivation of morality and the reconstruction of morality.From the two aspects of "contributing to the good" and "promoting the good",this paper makes a brief review of Mencius' principle of "goodness of nature".
