Objective: To explore the clinical effect of painless gastrointestinal endoscopy in the treatment of digestive tract diseases. Methods: 90 patients with gastrointestinal diseases were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with conventional gastrointestinal endoscopy and the observation group was treated with painless gastrointestinal endoscopy. Endoscopic examination results, examination center rate, changes in blood pressure and oxygen saturation, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: The excellent and good rate of gastrointestinal endoscopy in the observation group was 97.78%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(80%)(P < 0.05). Before operation, the intraoperative and postoperative heart rate, blood pressure and SpO2 of two group showed no significant difference(P > 0.05), but the intraoperative heart rate and blood pressure in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions such as cough, restlessness, abdominal distension and abdominal pain in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05). Conclusion: Painless gastrointestinal endoscopy in the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases had a significant clinical effect, it could effectively reduce the pain during the examination, enhance the examination effect, improve the patient’s tolerance, and it was of high safety, and had a positive clinical significance.
