The Relationship between Different Subjects in Algorithm News

算法新闻是以算法技术、算法系统为核心的新兴新闻传播形态。文章认为,算法新闻中主要关涉三类主体:算法创设主体、算法运用主体、算法新闻收受主体,他们在算法新闻活动中存在着十分复杂的关系。三类主体由算法新闻的展开过程而得以连接、结构在一个新闻生态系统之中。作为新兴的技术,相对于任何一种主体,算法系统均具有工具属性,都在一定程度上满足了不同主体的需要,故三类主体在不同程度上均实现了自身的自由和价值,获得了相应的主体性;但从另一角度观之,不同主体在达成自身目的的同时,也丧失了一定的主体性。算法新闻活动中主体关系的背后深藏着技术与人的关系,人们应当保持清醒与自觉,始终将技术保持在工具本位,始终将人作为终极目的。

Algorithm news is an emerging form of news dissemination with algorithm technology and algorithm system as the core. This article believes that the algorithm news mainly involves three types of subjects which have very complicated relationships in algorithm news activities: algorithm creation subject, algorithm application subject, and algorithm news receiving subject. The three types of subjects are connected and structured in a news ecosystem by the process of producing algorithmic news. As an emerging technology, compared with any subject, the algorithm system has the attributes of tools, which satisfy the needs of different subjects to a certain extent. Therefore, the three types of subjects have realized their own freedom and values to varying degrees. But on the other hand, different subjects lose their certain subjectivity while achieving their own goals. Behind the subjective relationship in the algorithmic news activities, there is a deep relationship between technology and people. We should stay awake and be conscious, always keep the technology in the tool-based position, and always regard people as the ultimate goal.
