南水北调中线干线工程自2003年开工建设至全线建成正式通水历时11年,工程线路长、地质条件多样、工程技术复杂、参建单位众多。建设过程中,在合同、技术、质量、进度管理等方面做出了大量创新探索,并取得了较好效果,对其他同类型水利工程的建设具有一定的参考价值和实践意义。

The South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Project started construction in 2003 and finally formally water delivery to the whole line, which lasted 11 years. The project has a long line, diverse geology, complex technology and a large number of participating units. In the course of construction, a lot of innovations and explorations have been made in contract, technology, quality and schedule management, which can provide reference for other same-scale water conservancy projects.
