种芋大小对多子芋生长及产量的影响

Effects of Tuber-seed Quality on Growth and Yield of Taro with Umerous Cormels

以闽东地区栽培面积最大的多子芋品种‘福安白鼻芋’和‘福安红鼻芋’为试验材料,研究不同大小种芋对多子芋植株生长量及产量的影响。结果表明:种芋大小在一定范围内对芋头植株生长量及产量有较大的影响,种芋质量大于30g,对芋头植株生长量及植株产量的影响较小;当种芋质量小于30g,对植株生长量及植株产量的影响较大。因此,生产上建议选择质量为30~60g的子芋作为种芋,其生产栽培的子芋经济效益最佳。

In this paper, two cultivars of taro with numerous cormels ‘Fu’an red bud taro’ and ‘Fujian white bud taro’ were used as materials to study effects of different size tuber-seed on growth and yield of taro. The results showed that the tuber seed size had a great influence on taro plant growth and yield in a certain range. Over 30 g tuber-seed had a little effect on the growth and yield of taro. When the quality of tuber-seed was below 30 g, the effect on the growth and the yield of the plants was relatively large. Therefore, it is recommended to select the filial tube with weight of 30-60 g as tuber seed to obtain optimum economic benefit.
