成都市本科护生对老年人态度及知识现状分析

Status Analysis of Undergraduate Nursing Students’ Attitude Towards the Elderly and Their Geriatric Knowledge in Chengdu

目的了解本科护生对老年人态度及知识的现状并分析其影响因素。方法采用方便抽样法选取成都市3所高校的本科护生为研究对象,使用一般资料调查表、对老年人态度量表(KAOP)和老年知识量表(FAQ)进行调查。结果研究共发放问卷580份,有效问卷542份,KAOP得分总体持负向,为(118.51±12.23)分;FAQ得分总体偏低,为(11.69±3.33)分。Logictis回归分析显示,学习过老年护理课程的护生对老年人的态度更积极;多元线性回归分析得知,学习过老年护理课程、对老年人的态度越积极、与老年亲戚来往密切的护生,老年知识得分较高。结论本科护生的老年知识普遍较缺乏且大多对老年人持负向态度。学习老年护理课程是对老年人态度的影响因素,学习老年护理课程、对老年人态度、是否与老年亲戚来往密切为老年知识的影响因素。

Objective To investigate the status quo of undergraduate nursing students' attitude towards the elderly and their geriatric knowledge and analyze the influencing factors. Methods The undergraduate nursing students of three universities in Chengdu were selected by the convenience sampling method, and the questionnaire survey was conducted by General Data Questionnaire, Kogan's Attitude toward Old People Scale (KAOP) and Palmore's Facts of Aging Quiz (FAQ). Results A total of 580 questionnaires were sent out in the study and 542 valid questionnaires were collected. The KAOP score was negative in general and it was (118.51±12.23). The overall score of FAQ was low and it was (11.69±3.33). The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that the nursing students who had taken the geriatric nursing course had a more positive attitude towards the elderly. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that the score of nursing students' geriatric knowledge was higher for the nursing students who had taken the geriatric nursing course, those who had a more positive attitude towards the elderly, or those who had close contact with their elderly relatives. Conclusion Undergraduate nursing students are generally lack of geriatric knowledge and most of them hold a negative attitude towards the elderly. Taking the geriatric nursing course is the influencing factor of their attitude towards the elderly. Taking the geriatric nursing course, undergraduate nursing students' attitude to the elderly and having close contact with their elderly relatives are the influencing factors of the geriatric knowledge.
