Analysis of the Establishment of the Curriculum and Teaching Models of English for Specific Purposes Based on "Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation"

“大众创业、万众创新”策略的提出,为我国经济发展及改革指明了新的方向,也为高等教育培养人才提出了时代的要求。在此背景下,ESP应以“双创”为导向,对目前的课程体系设置进行调整,改革目前的理论教学与教学实践的模式,构建“理论知识”、“专业技能”及“创新创业意识能力”为一体的综合培养体系,真正培养出满足社会实际需要的人才。

The proposal of the "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" strategy points out a new direction for China’s economic development and reform,and it provides guidelines for the development of higher education as well.In such context,English for Specific Purposes(ESP) should be instructed by this strategy to adjust the present curriculum system,to reform the mode of current theoretical and practical teaching,and to build a comprehensive training system that integrates "theoretical knowledge", "professional skills",and "consciousness and capabilities of entrepreneurship and innovation".In this way,it is feasible to cultivate talents to meet the actual needs of society.
