Objective To study the effect of nutritional support care guided by dysphagia assessment on the recovery of post-stroke patients and to provide clinical guidance for the recovery of patients. Methods 60 post-stroke patients who were admitted from January to December 2018 in a hospital were selected as subjects. They were randomly grouped according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine nutritional support nursing measures, and the study group used dysphagia assessment to guide the implementation of nutritional support nursing intervention. After the intervention, serum total protein, serum myoglobin, serum albumin and other levels of two groups were measured, and the recovery of dysphagia, hospitalization time, and complications of two groups were recorded and analyzed. Results After the intervention, the total effective rate was 86.7% in the study group and 63.3% in the control group. The total effective rate of the control group was significantly lower than that of the study group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Serum total protein, serum albumin and serum hemoglobin levels in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). The hospitalization time of the study group patients was significantly shorter than that of the control group. The total incidence of complica tions in the study group was 10.0%, which was significantly lower than that of the control group(33.3%),(P<0.05). Conclusion Nutritional support care guided by dysphagia assessment can significantly improve the recovery of patients after stroke, shorten the length of hospital stay, and reduce the incidence of complications. It is worthy of wide application.
