钟嵘《诗品》陆机条之“不贵绮错”新解

A New Interpretation to Lu Ji’s “Belittling Flowery Language” in Zhong Rong’s Poem Evaluation

钟嵘《诗品》陆机一条有“不贵绮错”一语,学者或解为陆机不以绮丽交错为贵,或释作不以自然交错为贵,或判“不”字为衍文,或定“不”字因字形而误,皆于理未达。通过对“不”字用法的梳理以及《诗品》前后文的对照,可证“不”字系无实义之助词,“不贵绮错”正体现在陆机欲将真挚的诗情用绮美绵密的语言完美地加以表达之艺术追求。

According to Zhong Rong’s Poem Evaluation,Lu Ji“belittled the flowery language,”an expression subject to multiple but unreasonable interpretations,such as redundancy error or figure error.After some sorting efforts and a constrative study,the present author comes to the contention that the above expression does not have any concrete significance,but the linguist embodiment of the sincere poetic pursuit of Lu Ji.
