Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of levamlodipine in the treatment of mild to moderate hypertension. Methods A total of 95 patients with mild to moderate hypertension admitted to the hospital were divided into two groups according to the order of admission. The control group(n=47)was treated by amlodipine and observation group(n=48)was given levamlodipine for treatment. The clinical efficacy of two groups were evaluated. Results The systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in two groups were significantly reduced after treatment compared to the treatment before, and the obe observation group was lower than control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the vascular function indexes(central arterial pulse pressure,brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity, dynamic arteriosclerosis index, augmentation index of central artery reflex wave)of the two groups were significantly better than treatment before, but there were no significant differences between the two groups(P>0.05);the total nursing satisfaction in the observation group was significantly higher(P<0.05),and the incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Levoamlodipine that is a safe and effective in the treatment of mild to moderate hypertension can effectively improve the blood pressure.
