with the development of the times and the progress of society,the construction of the national power grid system is constantly improving,and the application of power engineering technology in the power industry is becoming more and more extensive. Strengthening the construction of smart grid and taking effective measures to strengthen the exploration of power engineering technology will help to continuously improve the effectiveness of smart grid construction.In this paper,the basic connotation and characteristics of smart grid are briefly analyzed,and the importance of strengthening the application of power engineering technology in smart grid construction and its application measures are emphatically discussed for reference.
