A Review of Research on Baojuan of Journey to the West

与《西游记》相关的民间宝卷保存了明清时期民间宗教信仰的遗迹。20世纪至今对西游宝卷的研究经过椎轮初始、缓慢发展、全面发展三个阶段,西游宝卷与书目的收集整理也从自在迈向自觉,从无序走向系统。文章收集整理四十余种与《西游记》相关的宝卷,从目录、卷册、年代、版本等角度进行梳理,以期概观西游宝卷现存状况。对西游宝卷除了文献、目录、宝卷本体研究外,更应重视宝卷文学性及与其他说唱文学样态的交互关系。

The spread of Journey to the West is closely related to folk Baojuan( precious scrolls). These folk Baojuan keep religion traces in the Ming and the Qing Dynasties. Journey to the West Baojuan went through three stages of development,the initial phase,slow development stage and flourishing stage. The collection and reorganization of books have become more conscious and systematic. From making a systematic study of its bibliography,contents,versions,creation periods,forty kinds of Baojuan related to Journey to the West Baojuan have been collected in this article to summarize its existing situation. Besides the research on its literature,catalog and text,the emphasis of research on Baojuanu should be placed on the relationship between Baojuan’s literature and other talking and singing forms.
