摘要
教育公平问题一直是美国社会关注的焦点问题。作为缓解教育不公平问题的重要社会力量之一,"为美国而教"计划在近三十年的发展中取得了十分显著的成效,其社会关注度和国际影响力随之不断提升,为未来发展创造了良好的机遇。2017年特朗普执政后,其推出的教育政策在一定程度上忽视了教育不公平问题的解决,从而对"为美国而教"计划的发展形成了挑战。面对机遇与挑战,"为美国而教"计划未来的发展趋势表现为:继续作为选择性教师教育路径而存在;始终为解决教育不公平问题而发展;创新推出"集体领导"理念以扩大发展。
Educational inequality has always been the focus of American society. As one of the vital social forces to alleviate educational inequality,"Teach for America" program has achieved remarkable results in nearly three decades, and its social attention and international influence have been continuously enhanced, thus creating opportunities for its future development. As President Trump took office in 2017, he launched a series of educational policies. However these policies didn’t pay enough attention to solve the problem of educational inequality to some extent, thus forming challenges to the development of "Teach for America" program. Facing the challenges and opportunities,"Teach for America" program always sticks to its original intention to solve the problem of educational inequality, leading its development trend as follows: it will continue to exist as one of the most important approaches of Alternative Teacher Education;it will continue to spare no efforts to address educational inequality;and it will creatively introduce the concept of "collective leadership" for further development.
