Cultural Belief,Reputation Mechanism and Governance of the Overseas Remittance Network

侨批网络作为一个以声誉为基础的经济制度,保证了近代侨批局的诚信经营。对侨批网络作为一个联盟满足多边惩罚的条件进行分析,进而构建博弈模型论证委托人保证代理侨批局诚信经营的多边惩罚策略,分析该策略自我实施的机制,从而为侨批局的诚信经营做出解释,并认为在解放前夕,一些侨批局不再诚信经营的原因是由于当时的侨批网络已无法满足多边惩罚的条件。

As a reputation-based economic system,the Overseas remittance Network has ensured the integrity management of the Overseas Remittance Agencies. Based on historical documents,this paper analyses the conditions to meet multilateral punishment for the overseas remittance network as a coalition,and then constructs a game model to demonstrate the multilateral punishment strategy to ensure the integrity of overseas remittance agencies,and believes that the reason why some overseas remittance agencies no longer operate in good faith is that the overseas remittance network could not meet the conditions of multilateral punishment on the eve of liberation. This study not only helps to understand the governance model of overseas remittance network,but also helps to understand the dynamic interaction between the overseas remittance network and related economic institutions in history. It can provide reference for the construction of market credit system today.
