IBM512节点PC集群Geocluster地震数据处理系统配置的两套绘图仪,由于网络接口盒的硬件故障致使无法绘图.将绘图仪通过IKon卡连接到工作站,在测试过程中,绘图actor oyo24频繁报错.通过编写程序,用绘图仪的绘图速度和图形文件大小计算出所需要的绘图时间,用时间来控制作业经理向oyo24分派绘图作业的频率,从而确保oyo24向绘图仪传送图形文件时绘图仪状态是空闲的,解决了oyo24频繁报错问题.同时,还实现了用一台绘图仪承担两套应用软件的绘图任务,节省了硬件资源.

Two sets of plotters equipped with Geocluster seismic data processing system of IBM 512-node PC cluster are unable to plot because of hardware failure of network interface enclosure. The plotter is connected to the workstation through Ikon card, and the plotter actor oyo24 frequently reports errors during the testing process. By compiling a program, the plotting time needed is calculated with the plotting speed and the size of the plot file of the plotter, and the time is used to control the frequency of assigning the plotjob to oyo24 by the JobManager, so as to ensure that the state of the plotter is idle when oyo24 transmits the plot file to it, thus resolving the problem of frequent error reporting of oyo24. At the same time, it realizes the plot task of two sets of Geocluster with one plotter, which saves hardware resources.
