This paper makes a comprehensive exposition on the 2018 overall development of marine economy and the development trend of major marine industries and regional marine economy,and by analyzing the effect of the supply side structural reform in the maritime domain,draws the basic conclusions as follows:In the year of 2018,marine economy as a whole maintained steady growth and its total amount went up to a new level.The marine industry structure has continuously been optimized,and the emerging industries and new business forms have grown rapidly.The regional marine economy has developed steadily,and the proportion of the southern marine economic circle has continuously increased.The operational benefits of the marine-related enterprises have been significantly improved,the innovation capacity of marine science and technology has been continuously enhanced,the intensive and economical utilization of the marine resources has continued to increase,the marine ecological benefits have been significantly improved,the financial support for the marine economy has been continuously enhanced,the opening-up level of marine economy has been further raised,and marine economy has continued to move toward high-quality development.
