摘要
详细地描述了基于CPLD的串口通信设计,首先介绍串口通信的基本知识,然后介绍开发工具、CPLD的选型、顶层设计和主要功能模块。顶层设计采用原理图方式进行设计,串行接收模块、串行发送模块采用VHDL语言进行设计,帧协议处理模块采用VHDL语言和有限状态机进行设计,并进行了串口通信的时序仿真。将该设计运用于通用MBI模块测试系统的开发,使得电路设计简洁而灵活,具有较强的通用性。
This paper describes the design of serial communication based on CPLD in detail.Firstly,it introduces the basic knowledge of serial communication.Then it introduces the development tools,the selection of CPLD,the top-level design and the main functional modules.Top-level design adopts schematic design,serial receiving module and serial sending module are designed with VHDL language,frame protocol processing module is designed with VHDL language and finite state machine,and serial communication timing simulation is carried out.Then the design is applied to the development of general MBI module test system,it makes the circuit design concise and flexible, and has strong versatility.
