《淮河流域环境变迁史》一书以淮河流域为研究对象,以环境变迁为中心,全面深刻地研究了历史时期尤其是宋元以来淮河流域的生态社会变迁。该书善抓重点,以问题为导向,将宏观论述与个案分析巧妙结合,综合运用多学科研究方法,采用多重研究视角,提出了新的见解,还表现了作者经世致用的现实关怀,是一部有关淮河流域生态社会变迁研究的力作。对于今后淮河流域环境变迁史的研究,需要进一步拓展对研究时段的认知,把握“整体”与“部分”、注重横向与纵向对比研究,丰富研究内容,创新研究方法。

Taking the Huaihe River basin as the research object, the book History of Environmental Changes in the Huaihe River Basin centers on the environmental changes, comprehensively and profoundly exploring the ecological social changes in the Huaihe River basin in the historical period, especially since the Song and Yuan Dynasties. The book is problem-oriented, focusing on the key points. By skillfully combining the macroscopic discussion with the case analysis, comprehensively using multi-disciplinary research methods, and adopting the multiple research perspectives, it puts forward new insights and also displays the practical concern of the author. It is considered as a masterpiece about the study on ecological social changes in the Huaihe River basin. For future research on the history of environmental changes in Huaihe River basin,further understanding of the research period needs to be expanded, with the balance between "whole" and "part" to be kept with horizontal and vertical comparative research, thus enriching the research content and improving the research methods.
