随着宽带提速、互联网智能电视的发展,农村宽带业务的需求不断提高,用户数量快速增长,原有EPON+EoC模式的双向网络已很难满足用户对宽带业务拓展的需求。为了推动农村地区的宽带网络发展、保持竞争优势、深入推进网络转型,迫切需要进行FTTH网络建设。为此扬中广电网络公司在乡镇农村网络优化改造方面,采取原有双向电缆网传输数字及互动电视,在已建光纤资源的基础上利用备用纤芯逐步向用户端延伸光纤网络,最后实现光纤入户(皮缆入户),提高宽带接入能力。

The original two-way network of EPON+EOC mode has been difficult to meet the needs of users for broadband service expansion. In order to promote the development of broadband network in rural areas, maintain competitive advantage and further promote network transformation, FTTH network construction is urgently needed. Therefore, Yangzhong Broadcasting and Television Network Company adopts the original two-way cable network to transmit digital and interactive television in the rural areas of villages and towns. On the basis of the established optical fiber resources, it gradually extends the optical fiber network to the user end by using the spare core. Finally, it realizes the optical fiber access (cable access) and improves the broadband access capability.
