壮语“太阳”的地理语言学分析

“The Sun” in the Zhuang Language: A Geolinguistic Analysis

本文通过绘制现代壮语方言“太阳”一词的词形分布图,对其各种词形进行分析解释,并根据词形的内部演变规律及地理分布推定其历史生成过程,认为壮语"太阳"词形的新旧序列依次为:单音节词ηwan2/ηon2/wan2,再到双音节复合词Ta系-Tag系―闵呵系。另外,通过对清代壮汉译语及广西旧志记载“太阳”词目的考察,推测壮语“太阳”词形变化不大。

This paper first presents the dialect map of the various words encoding "the Sun” in modem Zhuang dialects, and then analyzes and interprets the forms of these words, and finally deduces the historical process of their formation according to the internal law of evolution of these forms and their geographical distribution. It proposes that the evolutive sequences of these forms are as follows: first the occurrence of monosyllabic root variants 6tr)wan2/gon2/wan2,,s and then the disyllablic compounds of the "Ta" system t the “Tag” system t the "IQag” system. In addition, based on studies of the words indicating "the Sun" in Zhuang-Chinese bilingual dictionaries compiled in the Qing Dynasty and those in the old local records of Guangxi, it is inferred that the forms for "the Sun" in the Zhuang language have not undergone big change.
