The central coastal areas are influenced by low-salinity intrusion frequently. The accuracy and resolution of the common methods of salinity detection was systematically analyzed,the core technical composition of the salinity monitoring system and the functional design requirements of each module was summarized,and the design content of the river channel salinity automatic monitoring system in Dongtai City was briefly described.
