功能目的论视角下的公示语翻译研究——以河南省为例

On the Translation of Public Signs from the Perspective of Skopos Theory——Taking Henan Province for Example

为了进一步规范公示语翻译,更好地实现公示语的实用价值,从功能目的论的角度分析了公示语翻译过程中存在的大小写混用、拼音、英语混用、硬译、死译、误译等问题,指出公示语翻译的要求从而提出规范公示语翻译的对策。

In order to standardize the translation of public signs and fulfill the practical value of public signs,an analysis of the problems existing in the translation of public signs,such as mixed use of upper case and lower case,mixed use of pinyin and English,rigid translation and mistranslation is conducted from the perspective of Skopos Theory. Then the requirements and countermeasures of translating public signs are proposed based on the analysis.
