高校英语教育中英美文化的缺失与完善策略

The Deficiency and Improvement Strategies of British and American Culture in College English Teaching

英美文化是英语教学中的重点,语言学习离不开文化的学习,但很多高校英语教育过程中,忽视了对大学生英美文化的重点培养,限制了学生英语能力的提高。因此,高校应逐步完善英语教育方法,积极引导学生了解英美文化,才能进一步提高学生的英语交际及学习水平。

British and American culture is the focus of English teaching. Language learning cannot be separated from cultural learning. However,in the process of English education in many colleges and universities,the key cultivation of college students’English and American culture has been neglected,which limits the improvement of students’English ability. Therefore, colleges and universities should gradually improve English education methods and actively guide students to understand British and American culture so as to further improve student’English communication and learning level.
