Enjoy the Beauty of Plum Blossom through Poetry——A Brief Analysis on the Aesthetics and the Culture of Plum Blossom

梅花是中国传统名花,自古以来深受国人喜爱。除了从遗留的古园、古画中感受到人们对梅的欣赏,更可以从古人留下的宝贵文字中探寻对梅的鉴赏。本文通过对梅花古代诗词文赋的归纳整理,分别从观赏、实用及文化三个角度进行研究,分析了梅花花期、花香、花色和枝干的观赏特性,从食用和药用两个方面来阐述梅花的实用价值,并从清雅、傲骨、生机三个审美视角道出古时梅花的植物文化内涵,总结出梅花的文化特性。

Plum blossom is one of China’s traditional flowers,loved by Chinese people since ancient times.In addition to feeling the appreciation of plum from the ancient gardens and paintings,we can also explore their appreciation from the precious words left by the ancients.By analyzing the ancient poems and proses,this paper summaries three characteristics of plum blossom from the perspectives of the ornamental value,practicability and culture.Firstly,the flowering phase,fragrance,color and the ornamental characteristics of branches of plum blossom are analyzed.Secondly,the practicality of plum blossom are illustrated by their edibleness and medicinal value.Finally,the cultural connotations of plum blossom in ancient times are interpreted from three aesthetic perspectives of elegance,pride and vitality.
