Taking the submarine cable project of a platform in the Bohai Sea as an example, the construction method of submarine cable shifting was briefly introduced. The quality control points of the construction and the safety guarantee measures of the submarine cable had been pointed out, which could help to improve the construction efficiency, reduce the construction risk, shorten the stoppage time of the platform, reduce the safety hazards, and provide reference for the same type of submarine cable construction projects.
