初中生英语听力焦虑的现状探究——以上海市某初中为分析对象

摘要 为深入了解目前初中生的英语听力焦虑程度,本研究以Kim的《英语听力焦虑量表》为基础,对上海市一所普通初中的150名学生进行了问卷调查。经对144份有效答卷的描述性统计和参数检验分析后,发现:初中生英语听力焦虑总分处于中等水平;初中生英语听力焦虑虽然不存在显著的性别差异,但女生的焦虑程度略高于男生;初中生英语听力焦虑存在显著的年级差异,且初二学生的焦虑程度高于初一学生;初中生英语听力焦虑与英语成绩间存在显著的负相关关系。教师应关注学生的听力心理、听力材料以及听力技能,以将学生的听力焦虑控制在合理的范围之内。 In order to gain a deeper understanding of the current level of English listening anxiety among junior high school students, this study conducted a questionnaire survey of 150 students in an ordinary junior high school in Shanghai based on Kim's English Listening Anxiety Scale. After the data analysis of 144 valid responses, it is found that the total score of English listening anxiety of junior high school students is at a medium level;although there is no significant gender difference in junior high school students'English listening anxiety, the anxiety level of girls is slightly higher than that of boys;junior high school students have significant grade differences in English listening anxiety, and the second grade students have higher anxiety than the first grade students;there is a significant negative correlation between junior high school students' English listening anxiety and their English scores. Thus, teachers should pay attention to students'listening psychology, listening materials and listening skills to control their listening anxiety within a reasonable range.
