Climate change has a profound impact on global ecosystems and biodiversity and is a major scientific issue facing the world today,and is the main reason for the disappearance of thousands of species in the next 100 years. Therefore,an in-depth understanding of the mechanisms by which climate change leads to species extinction has important theoretical and practical significance for the effective protection of endangered species and biodiversity.This paper reviews the mechanisms of species extinction caused by climate change and proposes corresponding protection strategies to provide reference for endangered species and biodiversity conservation.
