Discussion on Application of RS and GIS in Satellite Urban Planning and Development Research

RS和GIS作为新兴技术,较多地应用于城市规划和土地研究中,并取得了一定成果。因此,将RS和GIS技术与卫星城市研究相结合,具有广阔前景。在实际研究中,往往通过卫星城市的土地利用情况为切入点,加以分析,得到不同类型卫星城市在规划中的思路方法,从而为其他卫星城市的规划建设起指导作用,或完善已有卫星城市的规划设计及发展定位。当前,我国在这一领域的研究并不深入,还存在诸多问题,但仍具有极大价值。

RS and GIS are mostly used in urban planning and land research,and some achievements have been achieved. Therefore,the combination of RS and GIS technology and satellite city research has broad prospects. In practical research,the land use situation of satellite cities is often used as a breakthrough point to analyze and get the ideas and methods of different types of satellite cities in planning,so as to play a guiding role in the planning and construction of other satellite cities,or to improve the planning design and development positioning of existing satellite cities. At present,the research in this field in our country is not thorough,there are still many problems,but it is still of great value.
