《启颜录·嘲诮》“酒肆”条“酒,向他篱头,四脚距地尾独速”中的“酒”是个谐音词,兼表“酒”和“狗”双重含义;“此嘲最是无豆”之“豆”也是个谐音词,兼表“窦”“逗”“豆”三层含义:“无豆”一是指狗在篱笆旁四脚蹬地尾巴摇动是因为“无窦”可入;二是众人评价此则嘲语最是“无逗(即不逗趣)”;三是用“无豆”关联“我若有豆,即归舍作酱,何因此间饮酢来”以讽刺酒酸。
