基于语料库的鲍勃·迪伦歌词词韵研究

A Corpus-based Study on the Word Rhyme of Bob Dylan’s Lyrics

鲍勃·迪伦获得了2016年诺贝尔文学奖,其本人不但是歌者,更是诗人。各种修辞手段尤其是词韵的运用极大地加强了鲍勃作品的艺术表现力和感染力。文章自建小型语料库、编写正则表达式对鲍勃·迪伦歌词词韵进行检索和分析。通过研究发现:鲍勃·迪伦歌词运用了多种词韵,包括头韵、尾韵,而且还将头韵尾韵联合使用形成新韵式,即头尾韵和尾头韵;四种词韵大量使用达2403次,占文本总数的25.81%;以21个辅音字母开头的词韵单词在总文本中的比重排序和其在总单词中的比重排序惊人相似,完全相同或近似的字母达17个,占总统计字母的80.95%。文章还对词韵的语义修辞功能进行了分类说明和相应分析,归纳出其具有强调渲染、形成对照、幽默讽刺、引起联想四项作用。

Bob Dylan,Nobel Literature Prize winner in 2016,is not only a poet but also a singer. The utilization of various rhetorical methods greatly enhances the expressive force and inspiration of his works. This paper searches and analyzes regular expressions in the self-established corpus in order to explore the word rhyme in Bob Dylan's lyrics. Through the study we find:(1) Various rhyme forms are used in Bob's lyrics,including alliteration and end rhyme. He also combines these two rhymes together to form new rhymes.(2) Rhymes are employed tremendously with 2403 times and take 25.81% of the whole text.(3) The sequences of the 21 consonant-headed rhyme words in the corpus are closely similar to their sequences in the total vocabulary. 17 out of 21 are the same or very near and the number takes 80.95% of the whole analyzed letters. This paper also illustrates the semantic rhetoric function of word rhyme,namely the function of emphasizing,contrasting,ironizing and associating.
