Wrestling Culture in the Murals of Goguryeo Tombs

运用文献资料、历史对比等方法,对高句丽古墓壁画中的角抵运动进行了探究,尝试了解高句丽角抵运动的发展,从而总结高句丽体育文化的特点。研究表明:角抵运动在先秦到隋唐时期,其作用和意义产生了巨大变化,且该变化与社会经济发展有着一定关系;从基本特点和运动技法上,高句丽的角抵运动都与中原角抵一脉相承,然而其装饰上的不同,又体现出高句丽自身独特的体育文化和民族特征。

This paper explores the wrestling in the Goguryeo tomb murals, using literature review method, historical contrast method and other methods to try to understand the development of Goguryeo wrestling and to summarize the characteristics of Goguryeo sports culture. The research shows that the role and significance of wrestling from the pre-Qin period to the Tang Dynasty has undergone tremendous changes, and this change has a certain relationship with social and economic development;Goguryeo wrestling is affected by Chinese wrestling, and from the basic characteristics and sports techniques, Goguryeo wrestling and Chinese wrestling are in the same line. However, the difference in their costumes reflects the unique sports culture and national characteristics of Goguryeo.
