To improve the Radio Frequency Identification(RFID)application in intelligent perception of Internet of Things(IoT)and promote the intelligent upgrading and service transformation for manufacturing industry, the investment decision-making issue whether or not RFID technology should been adopted by manufacturing/remanufacturing enterprise was discussed under an oligopoly market environment. The incorrect recycling problem in the recycling procedure of discarded products and its influence on returned quantity was analyzed.A two-stage profit model considering incorrect recycling rate was established without RFID technology. In view of the fact that the incorrect recycling rate could be eliminated with RFID technology,a two-stage profit model with RFID technology was established. The optimal pricing strategies and the profit functions of two models between?pre and post RFID adoption were obtain by mathematical derivation. On this basis, the recycling rate was divided into three intervals according to the critical conditions of optimal profit decision-making of the two models. The unit cost thresholds of RFID labels in three different intervals of recycling rate were discussed.A numerical example was suggested to validate the relevant conclusions.
