Drugs of promoting liver regeneration and their mechanisms

肝脏是哺乳动物中具有高度再生能力的器官。当肝脏受损时,静息的肝细胞接受刺激而重新进入细胞周期,使肝脏再生并部分恢复肝功能。然而,肝再生反应并不总是成功的,有时肝损伤会发展为进行性损伤并诱发严重的肝衰竭。对于部分肝脏切除手术后的肝硬化或癌症患者而言,寻找既能保护肝功能,又能提高肝脏再生能力的药物和方法具有重要的临床意义。本文就文献报道的促肝再生作用的药物及其作用机制做一综述,旨在为开发有效的药物治疗提供新见解。

Liver is a highly regenerative organ in mammals.As such,injury to liver results in stimulation of quiescent hepatocytes to reenter the cell cycle,resulting in liver regeneration and restoration of liver function.Yet,hepatic regenerative responses are not always successful because liver injury sometimes results in progressive damage that leads to severe liver failure.For patients with cirrhosis or cancer after their partial hepatectomy,it is of great clinical significance to find drugs and methods that can both protect liver function and improve liver regeneration.This article reviewed the drugs that promote liver regeneration and their mechanisms,aiming to provide new insights for the development of effective medication.
