摘要
以Brown&levinson的礼貌理论为依据,对戏剧《死神摊牌》的会话文本进行语料分析,探讨交际双方面子威胁的言语行为,帮助读者更加深刻地了解戏剧中人物的性格特征,从而更好地理解作家Woody Allen的语言风格以及该剧的主题。
Based on Brown & Levinson's politeness theory, the dramatic discourse of "Death Knocks" is analyzed, exploring the face-threatening speech acts and demonstrating how it can be applied to discover the personality traits of characters and understand the language style of the writer woody Allen and the theme of the play better.
