花园集·澳大利亚园的主题是金色。绿色和金色是澳大利亚代表色,淘金热可以作为中澳两国之间的联系。为体现实用性和可持续性的理念,虽然材料都选用了中国本土材料,但在风格上却非常澳大利亚。考虑展会将持续6个月,植物选用适合北京气候的本土植物,它们虽不是来自澳大利亚,却是在澳大利竝常用的品种。

The theme of the Garden Gathering-Australia Garden is gold, and also green and gold. Naturally this is to reflect Australian colours but also to represent the Gold Rush in Australia and the connections between China and Australia. Local Chinese materials are being used for practicality and sustainability but the material selection palette is very much selected to represent Australian materials and imagery. The plants that are being selected in China are su让ed to the climate in Beijing as the exposition runs for 6 months and are species that, while not local to Australia, are certainly in common use in Australia.
