摘要
自《史记》述吕不韦之佚事始,自《汉书》之“杂家说”起,后世对吕氏及吕著之评多欠公允。其一,以吕不韦佚事而“因人废言”;其二,“九流十家说”归类疏阔,湮灭了百家言人人殊之现实;其三,以“杂抄无学”而“因学废人”。后世虽多有发掘吕氏之大义者,亦多未离班氏“十家”苑囿。细审中华学术之大势,《吕氏春秋》其学术地位绝非“驳杂”,“六艺”裂变诸子,言人人殊乃“一致百虑”,然百家各执一端必难通经济之事,故百家贯通即“殊途同归”为学术必然,而当此任者则非吕氏莫属。因此笔者以为当别立一“通家”而其人应称“吕子”。
Beginning from discussion on Master Lv’s anecdotes in Records of the Historian, and from “Theory of Eclectics” of Book of Han, people hold different opinions on Master Lv and his words, which is unfair.Why? Firstly, people reject his opinions on account of his stories;secondly, not based on the facts that different man says different words,“Various Theories” are categorized generally;thirdly,people reject him by reason of his theory which is from “other authors” and which is without “new ideas”.Shi Jia generations try to discover Master Lv’s history of righteousness,most of their jobs are deeply influenced by “Shi Jia”.Sifting Chinese academic trend,Master Lv’s Spring and Autumn Annals definitely is not a mixture of others’ concepts.Liuyi develops into many ancient Chinese Philosophers’ Words.And that different man says different words mean “thoughts are different but theory is the same”.However,if we believe different philosophers’ ideas firmly without changing,one common notion cannot be reached.Therefore “All rivers run into sea” is Chinese academic trend and only Master Lv’s idea qualifies it.So the writer puts forwards one suggestion that we should acknowledge one more philosopher,who is “Lvzi”.
