摘要
本文基于COCA语料库对动词-构式错配型运动义way构式的语义结构、映射特征及其认知机制进行系统归纳和剖析,发现构式特定句法结构具有调整各元素间句法和语义错配的功能,构式压制下的动词及其论元的句法、语义互动是错配型运动义way构式构建的基础和理据,构式各要素间句法共组、语义融合驱动的认知域映射以及概念整合的双重认知操作有助于激活各要素特定构式语境下的临时语义特征并促成隐喻构建。
Based on COCA,the paper studies the semantic structure,the mapping peculiarities as well as the cognitive mechanism of“way”-constructions with mismatched motion meanings,finding that the constructed structure can adjust both the semantic and syntactic mismatches between constructional elements.The semantic and syntactic interaction between the verb and its argument under the construction coercion is the base of and motivation for the mismatched motion meaning.The dual cognitive operations of domain mapping and conceptual integration driven by syntactic co-composition and semantic fusion can help activate the temporary meanings of the elements and finally build the metaphorical meaning.
