As the first public theatre school in the history of Chinese drama, the National Theatre School attracted much attention from the beginning of its establishment in Nanjing because of its public, professional and social features, among which, the public feature was its core, the professional feature was its foundation, and the social feature was its function. These also highlighted the important value of National Theatre School during Nanjing government period in the history of Chinese drama education.
