项目管理在降低住院患者外周静脉留置针非计划拔管的应用

Application of project management in reducing the unplanned extubation of peripheral venous indwelling needles in hospitalized patients

目的探讨项目管理在降低住院患者外周静脉留置针非计划拔管中的应用。方法由肿瘤科护士长牵头,科室成立外周静脉留置针项目管理小组,通过前期搜集文献及资料,访谈肿瘤科使用静脉留置针而出现非计划性拔管的患者,制定外周静脉留置针使用情况调查表。2017年1~6月实施项目前的980例作为对照组,2017年7~12月实施项目后的930例作为实验组,记录住院患者留置针使用现状。结果外周静脉留置针非计划拔管率下降(P<0.001);脱管原因发生率降低(P<0.001)。结论项目管理可以降低住院患者外周静脉留置针非计划拔管率,控制产生脱管的原因,从而提高护理质量。

Objective To explore the application of project management in reducing the unplanned extubation of peripheral venous indwelling needles in hospitalized patients. Methods Led by the head nurse of oncology department, the project management team of peripheral venous indwelling needle was established in the department. By collecting literature and materials in the early stage, the patients in the department of oncology who had unplanned extubation of intravenous indwelling needles were interviewed to develop a questionnaire on the use of peripheral intravenous indwelling needles. 980 patients before the implementation of the project from January 2017 to June 2017 were set as the control group and 930 patients after the implementation of the project from July 2017 to December 2017 were set as the experimental group. The status of indwelling needle use in inpatients was recorded. Results Therate of unplanned extubation of peripheral venous indwelling needle was decreased(P < 0.001). The incidence of causes of extubation were decreased(P < 0.001). Conclusion Project management can reduce the unplanned extubation rate of hospitalized patients with peripheral venous indwelling needles and control the causes of extubation to improve the quality of nursing care.
