左翼知识分子自我改造意识的生成、分歧与历史影响——以“留声机器”之争为中心

The Generation, Divergence and Historical Influence of Left-wing Intellectuals’ Remolding Consciousness Center on the Phonograph Debate

1928年初,后期创造社成员中发生了"当还是不当留声机器"的论争。在外部政治话语并未介入的情况下,左翼知识分子自发地形成了否定"个人主义"立场,转而接受马克思列宁主义世界观的自我改造意识,体现出传统士大夫"经世致用"思想在新历史语境下的转换与再造。但由于理论准备的不足,也由于中国特殊的"后发现代性"境遇,在具体的改造方法上,左翼知识分子内部出现了较大分歧。这次论争对无产阶级革命理论的宣传与相关文艺运动的展开产生了不可忽视的影响,值得引起学界进一步重视。

At the beginning of 1928, the debate of to be or not to be a phonograph happened among the members of the later Creation Society. Without the intervention of political discourse, these left-wing intellectuals spontaneously reached the consensus of denying individualism and accepting the Marxism-Leninism, which reflected the transformation and reconstruction of the traditional scholar-bureaucrats’ thought of pragmatism in the new historical context. Due to the insufficiency of theoretical preparation and the special situation of post-modernity in China, there are great differences among the left-wing intellectuals in terms of specific reform methods. This argument not only publicized the theory of proletarian revolution, but also had a great influence on the development of literary rectification movement in the future.
