纽约中产化的历程、特征及对中国大城市的启示

The Process and Characteristics of Gentrification in New York and Its Enlightenment for China’s Large Cities

纽约作为世界经济中心和全球中心城市,中产化过程起步早且发展历程丰富,对其他城市的中产化发展具有较大的借鉴意义。在国内外学者已有研究的基础之上,对纽约中产化的发展过程及其各阶段的特征进行梳理,重点介绍其在1990年代初期经济衰退之后所呈现出的全新面貌。通过对我国大城市与纽约的中产化发展背景及特征之间异同的对比,探寻一条本土化的中产化路径,对我国大城市未来的内涵式发展具有重要意义。

As the world’s economic center and one of the global cities, New York has undergone an early-started gentrification process, which is of great reference value to the process in other cities all over the world. Based on the existing research both at home and abroad, this paper summarizes the development stages and the characteristics of each stage of gentrification in New York, and mainly introduces its brand-new characteristics after the early 1990’s recession. By comparing the background and characteristics of the gentrification process in China’s large cities and New York, this paper points out that it is of great importance to find a healthier way of promoting gentrification for the connotative development of China’s large cities.
