基于语料库的“Ghost”语义韵对比研究——以小说《歌剧魅影》为例

Corpus-based comparative study of the semantic prosody of “Ghost”:A case of The Phantom of the Opera

基于数据以及数据驱动的研究方法,对卡斯顿·勒鲁《歌剧魅影》中的"ghost"一词进行研究分析,并自建Opera语料库。将其与COCA语料库对比,通过AntConc 3.2.1w进行词语检索,采用软件中的Collocates将Opera语料库和COCA语料库中MI值大于3.0的"ghost"显著搭配词筛选出来,从而进行语义韵对比研究;另外,在基于数据的前提下,建立类联接,并分析研究这两个语料库中的语义韵。

Based on data and data-driven research methods,this paper studies and analyzes the word"ghost"in Gaston Leroux’s The Phantom of the Opera and builds the Opera corpus.At the same time,compared it with the COCA corpus,that is,through the AntConc 3.2.1 wword search,the author has used the Collocates in the software to filter out the significant collocations of the"ghost"with the MI-value greater than 3.0 in the Opera corpus and the COCA corpus,which conducts a comparative study of semantic prosody;In addition,based on the premise of data,we have established colligation,and analyzed the semantic prosody in these two corpora.
