In the field of chromatographic analysis, some patent applications are related to the analysis and detection of disease markers. Based on many years of practical experience, the author discusses the patent application strategy of related patents by two typical cases. It is suggested that when applying for a patent for invention, the invention related to the detection of disease diagnostic markers can be written as a combination of markers, kits, the use of markers in the preparation of kits, marker detection methods for non-diagnostic purposes, or screening methods for markers, to avoid falling into the scope of disease diagnosis.
