经学文献与经学文献学刍议

A Rustic Opinion on Confucian Classic Literature & Philology of Confucian Classics

经学文献的主体是儒家经典的原典以及以之为核心的历代章句、注释、评论、考据、校勘、辑佚、编纂、刊布等研究、整理成果。我们把古代经学文献从整体上划分为三大系统--"正经注疏""五经四书"两大主干系统加上辅翼系统,同时引进级次文献的概念,提出"树状年轮结构"的分析方法,以厘清经学文献整体及其内部各系统的层级结构。以经学文献为研究对象的经学文献学,既是传统文献学的分支,也是传统经学的分支,具备经学和文献学的双重属性,旨在揭示经学文献的内容属性、形式特点、载体构造、范畴类别以及沿革传承、庋藏刊布的一般规律,并为其整理研究提供理论依据和实践指导。经学文献学与经学、经学史三位一体,互为表里,相辅相成。

The main body of Confucian classic literaturewas the original texts of Confucian classics,together with the research and collation achievements intheir textual interpretations,annotations,commentaries,textual criticisms,collations,editions of scattering documents and publicationsfrom various dynasties.We divided the ancient Confucian classic literature into three systems as a whole,namely the two main systems of “the legitimacy exegesis of Confucian classics”and“the Five Classics & the Four Books”,and“the auxiliary wing system”. At the same time,we introduced the concept of hierarchical documentation,and put forward the analytical method of“tree-ring structure”so as to clarify the hierarchical structure of the whole Confucian classic literature and its internal systems. Philology of Confucian classics,which took Confucian classic documentation as its object of study,was not only a branch of traditional philology,but also a branch of traditional study on Confucian classics. It had dual attributes of the study of Confucian classics and philology. Its purpose was to reveal the general rules of the attributes of contents,characteristics of forms,structure of carriers,category and classification,process of development and inheritance,collection,and publication of Confucian classics. It also provided theoretical basis and practical guidance for its researchand collation. Philology of Confucian literature,together with thestudy and history of Confucian classics formed an organic whole,Theyweredependent on and supplementary to each other.
