中国画的创作源于生活。中国画创作的主体精神是指创作者在艺术创作中,所体现出来的艺术特色和鲜明的创作个性,是创作者情感的积累和体现,将意象的笔墨结构上升到一种精神表现。一个画中国画的人如果没有笔墨功夫,那是不可能画好中国画的,有了笔墨功夫,但还要笔墨的深化,必须上升到意象的表现,必须通过中国画的笔墨功夫上升到意象的表现,才能体现出中国文化的精神。

The creation of Chinese painting originates from life. The subjective spirit of Chinese painting creation refers to the artistic characteristics and distinct creative personality embodied by the creator in the creation. It is the accumulation and reflection of the creator’s emotions and the spiritual expression of the pen and ink structure of the image. It is impossible for a Chinese painter to paint well without brushstroke techniques, and only when brushstroke techniques are deepened into image expression can the spirit of Chinese culture be embodied.
