技能大赛引领下的高职公共英语教学改革与实践——以天津城市职业学院为例 被引量:1

摘要 目前,各高职院校都在开展形式多样的公共英语课程改革,但在课程标准方面仍然缺乏纲领性和系统性的权威引领,学生的整体英语运用能力不强,参与高职高专实用英语口语大赛和英语写作大赛的学生水平尚不能代表广大学生的整体水平。随着两赛在职业教育领域的影响力不断增强,大赛体系持续完善,开展以技能大赛为引领的公共英语课教学改革势在必行。以天津城市职业学院为例,课题组在大一年级第二学期进行了以技能大赛为引领的公共英语课程改革,改革从“构建金字塔式的选手选拔大格局”“搭建‘一主两翼’的英语学习大平台”和“打造以学生为主体的能力本位训练教材”三个方面展开,旨在全面提高能力本位教育的水平。 At present,every higher vocational college in China is carrying out various forms of English curriculum reform.However,there is still a lack of programmatic,and systematic authoritative guideline in curriculum standards.Students'overall English ability still remains weak.Besides,the level of students participating in the practical English spoken English contest and the English writing contest in higher vocational colleges still cannot represent the overall level of students.With the continuous improvement of the English contest systems and the increasing influence of the contests,it's of great necessity to conduct reforms guided by the State Contest on vocational college English teaching.Taking Tianjin City Vocational College as an example,the reform,aiming at enhancing competence-based education,is conducted by focusing on compiling a student-centered textbook,creating a pyramid-shaped contestant selection pattern,and constructing a multi-channel learning platform.
