摘要
英语阅读水平是衡量学习者英语能力的形式之一,阅读课教学效果的好坏直接影响英语能力的高低,然而,阅读本身却是一个相对复杂的认知过程。以往的英语阅读课程多侧重语言知识体系的传授,却忽略了学生们作为文本的读者,其认知能力对阅读效果的影响。文章以问题为出发点,对英语阅读教学提出了探索性建议。
English reading is one of the criteria to test a learner's English capacity.Therefore,the effects of English reading teaching can directly decide on one's English capacity.However,reading is a cognitive process which is considered to be relatively complex.In the traditional English reading class,teachers mostly focus on language itself,while neglecting the fact that students,as readers of texts,have a great impact on reading effect.This paper,based on problems in English reading class,tries to put forward some tentative advice to English reading teaching.
