A Numerical Study of Dense-phase Conveying in Level Pipe Bends

摘要 在密相气力输送中,弯管是常见的导向部件,由于物料在弯管处流动方向发生剧烈改变,磨损往往是引起弯管损坏的主要原因,输送气体在弯管所产生的压力损失也不可忽略。运用CFD软件数值模拟,研究对同一内通径、不同曲率半径的弯管在一定的灰气混合比条件下有着何种不同的流动状态,以了解输送物料对弯管的磨损程度和输送气体在弯管部分的压力损失。 In dense-phase pneumatic conveying system,pipe bends are common guidance components.Due to dramatic change in flow direction of material at bends,abrasion is often the major cause of bend damage,while the conveying air pressure loss at bends should also be taken into consideration.Using CFD numerical simulation software,the paper studies the flowing states under certain ash-air ratios at bends with same inner-diameter but different curvature-radius,in order to learn more about the conditions of bend abrasion caused by conveying materials as well as conveying air pressure drop at bends.
